By one of the little guys

TORRENT FREAK reports that big layoffs are expcted at the copyright copster the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

But that’s not all. The same source said that a Shanda Moursey has sued the RIAA and three big records companies as well as a firm called Mediasentry, which gathers IP addresses.

The suit challenges the hegemony of the multinational record companies and alleges they’ve been abusing the federal court system, “waging a public relations and public threat campaign targeting digital file sharing activities”.

The filing also describes the RIAA’s process as a sham litigation programme, and use intimidation to reach the result it desires.  You can read the detailed story, here.
