Robo croc

Since a lot of the Crocodile is nose and teeth that was quite a lot of reconstructive surgery.
According to the Telegraph, the endangered crocodile's jaw had been broken when it was hit by a car in the Florida Keys. It took four hours to operate on the croc at Miami's Metrozoo.
Park keepers have dubbed the crocodile 'Robo Croc' because there was a large amount of metal in its face after the accident.
The beast was close to death after having its head crushed by a car in the Florida Keys last year. It has not eaten for three months because it had been unable to move its broken jaw.
Douglas Mader, of the Marathon Veterinary Hospital, saved the reptile by reconstructing its face placing two metal rods between its eyes, extending down to the bridge of its nose, and another on each side. Forty-one metal screws were drilled into its hide, keeping the skull and snout together.
